Valente arrived at Fremantle after a highly successful draft year where he captained South Australia to the 2018 NAB U18 AFL National Championship title. The no.32 draft pick didn’t make his debut at AFL level in 2019, held back by a groin injury that he sustained prior to arriving at the club.
