The midfielder turned half back played some of his best footy late in the season as he rebounded from only playing 16 games in the previous two seasons. Despite some quiet games, Hill’s 20 disposals against North Melbourne and 19 against Western Bulldogs showed the veteran was getting back to his best and, most importantly, performing and recovering well while playing regular footy.
