Intercept focuses on early intervention and understanding the challenges participants face. Using the power of sport to break down barriers, Intercept assists participants to discover their strengths, connect with positive role models who genuinely care and build a sense of belonging.
The program runs in 10-week blocks on a Thursday night. Up to 30 young people will come together to learn and connect with local role models including, police officers, coaches, players and their community.
To strengthen connections beyond the program, Intercept will include family-focused events and sibling invitation days, creating opportunities for families to come together and share in the experience, because we know it takes a whole community to lift a young person up.
