Fremantle will break a club record of most consecutive wins if it can defeat Richmond at Domain Stadium on Friday night.

Last week’s 11-point win over Adelaide equaled the club record of nine straights wins set in 2006.

That record was reached after a barnstorming finish to the season with Fremantle undefeated from Round 14 to Round 22.

Victory over the Tigers would be 10 straights wins for the club and continues the undefeated start to the year.

Fremantle has already broken a club record of most consecutive home games won, excluding finals, with its current tally of 12.

Talking Points ahead of Tigers

The club also set a record for most away games won, excluding finals, with a win over the Western Bulldogs in Round 7.

That streak now stands at six.
