The Fremantle Football Club strongly condemns the actions of three patrons who entered the field of play during the round 8 game against North Melbourne at Optus Stadium.

Not only are these actions disruptive to the game, and the players and supporters in attendance, the potential sanctions for pitch invasions are significant.

These sanctions include fines of up to $12,000, being charged with Trespass and being issued with a venue banning notice from attending events at Optus Stadium (currently for three years).

The football should be a safe environment for all spectators attending fixtures at Optus Stadium, as well as players and match officials.

For any individuals contemplating such actions in the future, the club requests that you consider the implications and the risks it poses to others.
