Seven Fremantle players have earned AFLCA Coaches Votes following Fremantle’s win over Narrm on Saturday evening at the MCG.

Michael Frederick and Rory Lobb shared the top honours with eight votes each, while Sean Darcy (five votes), Brennan Cox (three votes), James Aish (two votes), Andrew Brayshaw and Lachie Schultz (one vote apiece) also polled for Freo.

Sparking Fremantle into the game, Lobb kicked the first goal of the match and the only other goal for Fremantle before half time, helping to keep the team in the hunt.

Lobb also took nine marks for the match (three contested) and was crucial for Fremantle all over the ground with his 15 disposals, eight score involvements and four inside 50’s.

Michael Frederick was back to his best after a quiet two weeks in the wet, kicking two important goals in the second half and setting up two more, including this incredible tap back to Lachie Schultz.

Frederick used his pace forward of centre to create multiple scoring opportunities for Fremantle, finishing with a game-high 11 score involvements, 17 disposals and four marks.

Sean Darcy earned five votes after winning the hit out count against Max Gawn 32-20, with 13 of those hit outs to advantage, as well as 12 contested possessions, four marks and a goal.
