Josh Treack kicked two goals in Match Sim on Wednesday.

Fremantle finished off their final training session of 2022 with a match sim held over two shortened halves.

The ‘Black’ and ‘Pink’ teams were split evenly, with pink sealing the win from a Matthew Johnson goal on the siren.

Fremantle’s ruck depth was on show with Sean Darcy and Luke Jackson for Pink working in tandem against Liam Reidy, Max Knobel and Eric Benning for Black in what was an even battle between both teams.

New recruit Jaeger O’Meara won the opening clearance for Black to hit Josh Treacy on the lead, who kicked the first of two goals with an impressive set shot from 55 metres.

Sam Sturt evened the scoreboard soon after, kicking truly after being set up by a Brandon Walker inside 50.

Hayden Young combined with Caleb Serong for a neat goal on the run to give Black the lead at the half.

Treacy extended Black’s lead before three straight goals for Pink to finish the game. The run was started by an impressive play from NGA recruit Conrad Williams to set up Matt Taberner in the pocket.

Jackson then crumbed his own footy on the goalline to even the scoreboard for Pink before Johnson’s late winner.

It was the second notable play from Jackson in the space of a couple minutes, earlier out marking three opponents on the wing.

NGA recruit Josh Draper got involved down back as another new face who impressed.

The clear play of the day came in a drill before the match sim started, with draftee ruck Knobel taking a screamer.

The players now have a mandatory three-week break over Christmas and New Years, returning in mid-January.
