InStitchu will outfit Fremantle’s AFL and AFLW squads for the next three years, as well as their management, coaching and support teams, with a suite of custom, made-to-measure garments.

The AFL team will wear a customised grey linen tailored blazer with Club logo lining and player number monogrammed on the inner breast pocket of each suit, as well as custom navy cotton chinos.

InStitchu is an Australian made-to-measure tailoring business, with locations in Perth City, Karrinyup and Claremont among their 16 showrooms across the country.

Fremantle CEO Simon Garlick welcomed Institchu to the Fremantle family.

“The Fremantle Dockers are thrilled to partner with InStitchu for the next three seasons in both the AFL and AFLW,” Garlick said.

“As well as being at our best on the field, we want our players looking their best off the field.

“Wearing InStitchu, we know our players, coaches, management and staff will feel both proud and comfortable when representing the Fremantle Dockers during our busy events schedule or when on the road.

“InStitchu went to great lengths to come up with an outfit that is quintessentially ‘Freo’, and the pride they’ve shown in their work as well as their attention to detail is something both of our organisations share.”

InStitchu Co-Founder Robin McGowan said the design reflected the Club’s personality and needs in a contemporary yet classic way.

“We worked really closely with the Fremantle Dockers to ensure their look in 2023 and beyond captured their club spirit and needs,” McGowan said.

“Using a lightweight linen in a neutral grey tone and timeless navy chinos emphasise a modern and relaxed versatility that was essential for the club, because it’s suitable for hot weather, lots of travel and movement, and a range of events and needs, from post game functions to press events. We also wanted to bring the Fremantle personality to life through little custom details, with a club logo lining and each player number monogrammed on the inside, so that each player and staff member wears their InStitchu garment with pride.

“We’re really honoured to partner with the Fremantle Dockers as their Official Tailor and we can’t wait to see the club hit the 2023 AFL season with a new custom, made-to-measure InStitchulook. To be part of their proud tradition and story gives us a lot of pride.”
