Kiara Bowers was all smiles pre-game against West Coast despite being a late out.

Fremantle are hopeful of having Kiara Bowers return for their round two clash against Collingwood at Victoria Park on Sunday.

Bowers was a last minute withdrawal in Sunday’s RAC Derby win, with Senior Physiotherapist Brett Fletcher saying the Club wanted to be conservative with the star midfielder.

She will train this week with the aim of proving her fitness to travel and take on the Pies.

“’Turbo’ (Bowers) just pulled up with some knee soreness leading into the game and we didn’t want to take any risks,” Fletcher said.

“She’s looking good this week and we’re hoping she’ll be available.”

If Bowers gets the tick to play, Phil Seth (wrist) and Roxy Roux (leg) are set to be Fremantle’s only unavailable players due to injury.

“Roxy is training really well, she’s still on track to be available for round four,” Fletcher said.

“Phil is also going well, her football load is ramping up for the next couple weeks and she should be available for round three.”
