The Liam Henry trade with St Kilda is complete, with Fremantle receiving a future second round selection alongside a swap of future fourth round selections.

The trade further boosts Fremantle’s draft hand in 2024, with Fremantle holding three first round selections tied to Fremantle, Port Adelaide and Collingwood, and St Kilda’s second round selection during the opening two rounds.

Henry played 43 games for Fremantle over four seasons after being drafted in 2019.

Head of Player Personnel David Walls said it was disappointing to see Henry depart.

“After four years of development at Fremantle, on top of his time as a part of our Next Generation Academy since he was 15, it’s disappointing to see Liam depart after showing his potential in 2023,” Walls said.

“Through the trade, we are building a very strong hand for 2024, which gives us plenty of options for the rest of this trade period as well as next year.

“We thank Liam for his contribution to the Club as well as St Kilda for their cooperation in working through a trade.”
