Fremantle Oval was a sea of colour on Saturday as the Club celebrated the Footy Colours Carnival, with the next generation of talent front of mind thanks to the support of Bankwest.
The day was all about recognising a community of football stars, and Bankwest played a key role in making it a game day to remember.
The action kicked off with our Bankwest Buddies from the South Coogee Junior Football Club enjoying the ultimate game-day experience.
The young stars received Fremantle merchandise, a signed football and the chance to greet the AFLW team as they entered the field for their warm-up.
One lucky junior footballer was also awarded the ‘Bankwest Docker for a Day’ experience, running out with the team through the banner and soaking up the roar of the Purple Army.
The highlight of the day, however, came at the main break, with the half time Junior Club Parade, supported by Bankwest.
Junior football legends from across WA took centre stage, showing off their club colours in front of a humming Fremantle Oval.
The celebration didn’t stop there - as Bankwest helped make sure one lucky winner walked away with a $2,000 Burley Sekem voucher for their Club, while a runner-up scored a handy $500 voucher.
From start to finish, Bankwest helped shine a spotlight on grassroots football and the superstars of the future - making Fremantle’s first home game of the season a true carnival of colour, community and connection.
