Fremantle have confirmed their extended squad of 24 to take on the Adelaide Crows in a must-win Round 12 clash, this Sunday 2 November, with three potential inclusions in Holly Ifould, Amy Mulholland and a potential debutant in Evie Parker.

The three have been named on the extended bench alongside Tunisha Kikoak, Gabby O’Sullivan, Dana East, Sarah Verrier and Laura Pugh.

Senior Coach Lisa Webb spoke to media on Thursday morning and said while the group is aware certain results will need to swing their way for a finals chance, they are tunnel-visioned on the match-up against Adelaide.

“We’ve got a great opportunity to put our best foot forward against a team that we know has been in good form,” Webb said.

“A few things could go different ways, but we just have our full attention and focus on training, opposition, and how we get the best result come Sunday.

“I watched a couple of the games we played last year against Adelaide and we’re a different team and we keep improving and growing.”

Webb said after a patchy start to Fremantle’s 2025 NAB AFLW Season with two big losses against Brisbane and North Melbourne, she is proud of the group’s resilience and ability to bounce back.

“(I’m) so proud. I love this group - they work incredibly hard, and they don’t get too caught up in those wins and losses as well,” Webb said.

“We’re pretty measured in the highs and the lows, and how we can stay anchored and I’m really proud of the way we’ve fought back in this season.”

Named in the 22under22 Squad on Thursday morning, 18-year-old Georgie Brisbane has been named in the forward line, set to play her 11th AFLW game on Sunday.

Brisbane has continued to assert herself as a target in the forward line and highlighted that after booting two goals in Fremantle's clash with Richmond last week.

“We love her. The moment she came in, she’s just a real breath of fresh air,” Webb said on Brisbane.

“She can take some clunks (and) she’s got vicelike grips.

“To have her down there as a real focal point has been terrific. She’s got a really high work rate and every game I think she’s improving as well.

“I know she’s just fiercely determined to keep showing up for her teammates, so whether she does kick goals or not, she just wants to be the best for her teammates, and they absolutely love playing with her.”

Captain Ange Stannett, Tilly Banfield, Indi West and Kiara Bowers join Brisbane in the forward line.

The last time Fremantle and Adelaide met, the Crows won 49 (7.7) to Fremantle’s 12 (1.6) in a 2024 semi-final clash.

The game will be broadcast live on 7mate and Fox Sports, and streamed live on Kayo, Binge and 7plus from 2pm WST.

Fremantle’s final team will be announced at 2pm WST on Friday at fremantlefc.com.au.
