Fremantle’s side took part in four 25-minute quarters in an intraclub match on Saturday morning at the Club's HQ at Cockburn ARC.
Mason Cox kicked the two opening goals of the game with a strong contested mark and finish, followed by a 50-metre penalty to the goal line. The big man wasn’t just a threat up forward, drifting into defence and intercepting with strong grabs around the ground.
Jeremy Sharp kicked a beauty from deep in the forward 50 pocket, while a vocal Josh Treacy (purple) used his size and strength to gain ascendancy in the contest.
In attack Jye Amiss matched Sharp’s earlier efforts, also nailing a beauty from 50 on the boundary, kicking across goal into the wind. Amiss took several strong lead-up marks, presenting beautifully at the ball all morning.
Freo’s fresh crop of new faces showed their talent with the Club’s top draft pick Adam Sweid linking nicely through the middle and half-forward, while using his crisp hands to release teammates into space from the contest.

a couple goals + some nice defensive work in the first.#foreverfreo pic.twitter.com/3ZzFsxSaYR
Geelong draftee Tobyn Murray (white) ran into an open goal from 50 after helping his side capitalise on a turnover in the middle of the ground. His burst from stoppage and repeat efforts were a standout, while former Demon Judd McVee kicked a thumping goal from outside 50 after drifting from half-back late in the second term.
Developing forward Charlie Nicholls continued his progression in his second season at the Club, presenting strongly at the ball and finishing his work nicely as he gains confidence in his ability.
After missing the majority of 2025 with a shoulder injury, Brandon Walker showed the work he’s put in to get back to match fitness, laying several big tackles. Walker brought a rampaging Luke Jackson to ground when he would have run into space after a quality handball from Murphy Reid.
loved the defensive effort from Don but also… Murphy Reid’s vision is just crazy 😵💫#foreverfreo pic.twitter.com/yZXZLGCMpK

Midfielders Matthew Johnson and Neil Erasmus were influential all day for their side, with the pair consistently linking up with one another at centre clearances and around stoppage. Their chemistry will only continue to build as their careers progress with both still just 22-years-old
As the game wore on, Jackson’s versatility came to the forefront, with the big man impacting in the centre as an onballer and aerially posing as a threat around the ground all day, kicking a vital snap late in the game.
Play of the day came in the final term, with Andrew Brayshaw winning a clearance then feeding Hayden Young into space. Young taking ground before using his lethal left foot to penetrate deep inside 50 to find Pat Voss at the top of the goal square.
could’ve kicked it himself from inside the square 😳

Primed for AFL Origin next weekend, Shai Bolton’s silk and class to weave through traffic was a standout, and his ability to create play proved pivotal while lining up as a forward or in the middle.
Jordan Clark was one of the main distributors out of defence, with the 2025 All-Australian showing why he earned his first blazer through his run and carry off half-back.
Oscar McDonald may not have filled out the stat sheet in terms of disposals, but his game down back was noticeable, with the key defender barely putting a foot wrong alongside Brennan Cox and Heath Chapman.
Fremantle’s next intraclub game will be at Hands Oval in Bunbury on Friday 13 November, before games against West Coast and Adelaide to finish pre-season.
