See which players AFL Fantasy managers should look out for following Freo’s opening JLT Community Series clash with Collingwood on Monday at Joondalup Arena.

Darcy Tucker (MID, $431,000) – 103 AFL Fantasy points
Tucker led Fremantle for AFL Fantasy points in JLT1, collecting 19 possessions (15 contested), five clearances and laying 13 tackles – more than double any other player in the game. He played two separate roles against Collingwood, spending the opening half on the inside and the second half on the wing. Tucker's efforts could see him secure that inside mid role with Connor Blakely set to miss the start of the season.

Andrew Brayshaw (MID, $485,000) – 89 AFL Fantasy points
Picking up from where he left off prior to his season-ending injury, Brayshaw collected 25 disposals, four clearances and four inside 50s. He attended 18 centre bounces in JLT1, compared to his average of 5.2 from his 17 games in 2018, suggesting he will get significantly more midfield time in 2019.

Rory Lobb (RUCK/FWD, $485,000) – 97 AFL Fantasy points
Lobb impressed in his first Fremantle appearance, with 20 disposals, 20 hitouts, four clearances, two contested marks and a goal. Lobb attended 67 per cent of Fremantle’s ruck contests in JLT1, a number that will likely drop with the return of Sean Darcy – seeing Lobb spend more time forward.

Michael Walters (MID/FWD $581,000) – 72 AFL Fantasy points
As expected, Walters spent most of JLT1 playing in the midfield, attending 16 centre bounces. He collected 21 disposals with 13 clearances and kicked a goal to collect 72 AFL Fantasy points. He will be a handy player to select as a forward who racks up points in the midfield.

Brett Bewley (MID, $170,000) – 57 AFL Fantasy points
If Bewley makes Freo’s starting 22, he could be a bargain pickup for fantasy players. After coming on in the second quarter, he collected 13 disposals and laid four tackles, amassing 57 AFL Fantasy points with just 39 per cent game time.

Bradley Hill (MID, $587,000) – 102 AFL Fantasy points
Hill’s AFL Fantasy average dropped from 93.7 in 2017 to 80.9 in 2018 in what was as an injury-interrupted season for the speedy midfielder. Early signs from JLT1 is that Hill is ready to fire again in 2019 with 28 disposals, eight inside 50s and four tackles against the Pies.

Luke Ryan (DEF, $558,000) / Nathan Wilson (DEF, $519,000)
Ryan and Wilson are set to take the majority of Fremantle’s kick-ins in 2019. The new kick-in rules make it significantly easier to play on and these defenders should see an uptick in their disposal stats. In JLT1, Ryan played on from both of his kick-ins (100 per cent), compared to playing on just once from 107 kick-ins in 2018 (0.9 per cent).
Wilson played on in two of his three kick-ins (67 per cent) compared to playing on 17 times from his 105 kick-ins in 2019 (16 per cent).
