Scans on Monday have cleared Dana Hooker of any damage after the midfielder went down with a leg injury late in Fremantle’s win against North Melbourne at Fremantle Oval on Saturday.

The positive result means the star midfielder has been cleared to face Carlton in Saturday’s preliminary final at Ikon Park.

Fremantle senior coach Trent Cooper said that Hooker sustained a cork in her leg following a collision.

He added that forward Sabreena Duffy would be a test due to an ankle injury sustained in the clash.

“Dana will be fine, she’s super tough,” Cooper said.

“She got winded and a corkie as well but she’ll be fine.

“Sabreena, we are definitely a little bit more concerned about with her ankle.

“She'll go for scans so, fingers crossed, she’s ok but we won’t really know more until later in the week.

“She’ll be given every chance to prove her fitness as she’s obviously a very important player.”
