Fremantle have confirmed three changes for Saturday’s clash with North Melbourne at Hands Oval in Bunbury.
Midfielders Hayden Young and Jaeger O’Meara return to the team alongside key defender Oscar McDonald.
Matthew Johnson (injured), Brennan Cox (injured) and Chris Scerri (omitted) make way for the inclusions.
After successfully moving through concussion protocols, Young returns to the team after three weeks on the sidelines with the 25-year-old named in the middle alongside Shai Bolton, Andrew Brayshaw and Luke Jackson.
McDonald rejoins the defensive back six, named in a back pocket alongside captain Alex Pearce and Heath Chapman. Saturday’s match against the Roos will be McDonald’s 99th AFL game.
O’Meara is named on the interchange bench with Mason Cox, Neil Erasmus, Judd McVee and Corey Wagner.
The veteran’s last appearance at AFL level was the Round 5 win over Collingwood, before suffering multiple facial fractures in a training incident in mid-April.
Following surgery, O’Meara returned via the WAFL, playing two games for Peel Thunder and gathering 24 disposals and six tackles in the win over West Coast last weekend.
Scerri, Hugh Davies and Jeremy Sharp have been named as emergencies.
Saturday’s clash will commence at 12.15pm WST and will be broadcast on Channel 7 and Fox Footy and streamed on Kayo and 7plus from 12.00pm WST.
