Fremantle’s AFL Women’s team will get a number of hitouts before the season proper begins, with confirmation of four pre-season matches to be held in July and early August.
While Cockburn ARC Oval is undergoing final enhancements for the 2026 season, the matches will be held at a number of different venues.
The first match simulation will take place against the Adelaide Crows on Friday 10 July at Fremantle Oval.
The team will then hit the road to take on Port Adelaide at Alberton Oval on Saturday 18 July, which will serve as a sneak preview ahead of the Round One opener against the Power.
On Saturday 25 July the only official AFLW practice match of the pre-season schedule will take place against Richmond at East Fremantle Oval.
Then to wrap up the pre-season campaign, a final match simulation will be against cross-town rivals West Coast at Cockburn ARC Oval, on Sunday 2 August at 3pm.
