Fremantle ruckman Sean Darcy will return to the side for the Club’s clash with the Gold Coast Suns at Optus Stadium on Sunday.

While Darcy has been named on the bench in the extended 26-man squad, the Club has confirmed he will replace the omitted Mason Cox.

Darcy last played in Round 5 when he suffered concussion in the Gather Round win over Collingwood, followed by a calf strain while recovering.

He’s spent the last three weeks in the WAFL building form and fitness with Peel Thunder.

Fresh off signing a two-year contract extension with Fremantle, utility Corey Wagner has also been named on the bench, along with veteran midfielder Jaeger O’Meara who headed to Peel last weekend with pressure for AFL spots at a premium.

Rookie Chris Scerri rounds out the potential inclusions for Sunday, also named on the bench alongside Isaiah Dudley, Matthew Johnson, Judd McVee and Hayden Young.

Fremantle’s final team of 23 will be named at fremantlefc.com.au on Friday at 3.00pm WST.

As Perth continues to grow into one of Australia's most diverse cities, Freo are making sure AFL is part of the welcome.

This weekend’s ‘My First Freo Game’ is our celebration of community, welcoming Perth's newest families to come and watch AFL and join the Freo family.

Sunday will be the Club’s third Sunday game of the season and the first Sunday fixture to be played at home game fixture.
