Fremantle will step up their pre-season campaign when they face Richmond on Saturday 25 July at 10:30am WST in an official practice match at East Fremantle Oval.

The pre-season clash follows back-to-back match simulation wins. A first up 15-point victory over the Adelaide Crows at Fremantle Oval followed by an away win against Port in Adelaide.

Saturday’s clash with the Tigers comes just three weeks out from Fremantle’s official season opener against Port Adelaide at Cockburn ARC Oval. The practice match offering fans a look at new recruits and the hard work the side has put in throughout a long pre-season.

Saturday morning’s practice match at East Fremantle Oval will begin at 10:30am WST.

Fremantle will roll through 26 players in the practice match, which will serve as the penultimate pre-season hitout for the team.

Mim Strom, Ash Brazill, Gabby Newton and Tunisha Kikoak were strong in the previous match simulation against Port Adelaide. Strom plying her ruck craft but also having an impact up forward with two goals.

Fremantle will face former teammate Dana East for the first time when they take on Richmond. East played 49 games at Fremantle before moving to the Tigers.
