Fremantle and Pirate Life have once again joined forces to celebrate the Club's Retro Round, bringing back the special-release Fremantle Lager ahead of the Club's Round 23 match against the Adelaide Crows at Optus Stadium on Friday 14 August.
The beer, which is Fremantle and Pirate Life’s fifth official collaborative brew, lands in conjunction with the club's release of their 2026 retro jumper and merchandise range.
Pirate Life Innovation Brewer Dennis de Boer said Pirate Life was delighted to be continuing the partnership, which kicked off back in 2021.
“The Fremantle x Pirate Life partnership was built on a shared love of footy and beer, so we’re stoked to be celebrating five years of friendship with a cold one.
“This lager is crafted with premium malts and noble hops, then cold fermented for brilliant clarity and a smooth, refined mouthfeel.
“The result is a crisp and rewarding beer with great depth of flavour. Built for game day or any other ending in Y.”
In the lead up to Retro Round, Pirate Life's Perth venue will host its own Retro Watch Party on Saturday 8 August from 10.30am, as Fremantle take on the Demons.
The event will feature past players, prizes for best retro kit, plus the new collaboration lager fresh on tap and in cases for takeaway.
The Fremantle Lager will be available exclusively from Monday 3 August, at the select bottle shops below, as well as online via Pirate Life’s website.
