Fremantle’s AFLW High Performance Manager Tom Sutherland has provided an update on the squad ahead of Sunday’s Round 1 clash with Port Adelaide at Cockburn ARC Oval.
Eden Zanker (foot) - test
Eden missed a small portion of pre-season, but she’s strung together a few good weeks of football and we’re hoping she’ll be available for Round 1.
Holly Egan (knee) - test
Holly’s been incredible, as everyone knows an ACL journey is really challenging. It’s been a long year for Holly, her resilience has been incredible, her work ethic as well so we’re really excited. She’s just finishing up a four-week football training block.
Georgie Brisbane (hand) 3-4 weeks
Unfortunately for Brissy she has a hand injury and we’re hoping to get her back on the track Round 3 or 4.
Madi Scanlon (foot) 2-3 weeks
Emma O’Driscoll (glute) 2-3 weeks
Madi has a small foot complaint and Drizzy a small glute complaint, we’re hoping that if they can get through a little bit of football this week and next week they’ll be available for either Round 2 or Round 3.
