Fremantle have confirmed three changes to the line-up for Saturday’s final home-and-away fixture against Carlton at Marvel Stadium.

Revealed on Wednesday, 21-year-old debutant Tobyn Murray will line up for his first AFL game alongside returning inclusions Judd McVee and Bailey Banfield.

The trio come into the side to replace Jye Amiss, Heath Chapman and Sam Switkowski who have all been managed for the clash.

Amiss, Chapman and Switkowski are among 10 players who have played every game so far this season – along with Andrew Brayshaw, Jordan Clark, Isaiah Dudley, Neil Erasmus, Luke Jackson, Josh Treacy and Karl Worner.

McVee returns for his 21st game for Fremantle, after being omitted for the Club’s Retro Round clash with Adelaide last Friday night.

The 23-year-old defender has been named at half-back alongside Alex Pearce, Brennan Cox, Oscar McDonald, Jordan Clark and Luke Ryan as the starting back six.

This will be Banfield’s first AFL appearance of 2026, with his last game in purple coming in last year’s Elimination Final defeat to Gold Coast.

The versatile utility has enjoyed a strong WAFL season, averaging 27 disposals per match from his last eight outings for Peel Thunder.

Banfield has been named on the interchange bench alongside Mason Cox, Nathan O’Driscoll, Karl Worner and debutant Murray.

Hugh Davies, Charlie Nicholls and Toby Whan are emergencies for the clash.

Fremantle and Melbourne will commence at 1.15pm EST and will be broadcast live on Channel 7 and Fox Footy from 12.30pm EST, as well as streamed live on Kayo, 7plus and Binge from 1pm EST.
