Fremantle will host Hawthorn at Optus Stadium in the Club’s Qualifying Final on Thursday 3 September as part of the 2026 Toyota AFL Finals Series.
Freo were officially crowned minor premiers in Round 23 and, after a massive year filled with an all-time winning record (19 wins, including a 14-game winning streak), record-breaking crowd and membership numbers, countless memories and the occasional Wharfie Time, it’s fair to say that finals in 2026 have been earned.
The highly anticipated final against Hawthorn will commence at 6.10pm WST.
Fremantle last met Hawthorn during Round 9 in one of the most thrilling finishes of 2026 at Optus Stadium.
After trailing by 15 points at three-quarter time, Freo kicked four goals in the last nine minutes of the game to seal their victory and send the Purple Army into a frenzy.
Michael Frederick and Jye Amiss both kicked three goals apiece, while Luke Jackson put his case forward for three Brownlow votes with 22 disposals, seven clearances, 10 tackles and a crucial smother in the dying minutes.
Ticketing Information
All tickets for our Qualifying Final against Hawthorn will be available through Ticketmaster and will go on sale on Thursday 27 August.
Priority 1: Members will be able to purchase tickets during the Priority 1 access window between 10am and 2pm WST.
Priority 2: Members will be able to purchase tickets during the Priority 2 access window between 11am and 2pm WST.
General Public: Tickets will then go on sale to the general public from 3pm WST.
Fremantle members will receive an email from the Club prior to tickets going on sale with all of the relevant information they need.
