Pre-season Draft selection Noa McNaughton will make her AFLW debut when Walyalup hosts Carlton at Cockburn ARC Oval on Sunday. 

The dangerous small forward kicked a goal in each of Walyalup’s four pre-season matches and is an exciting prospect to face the red-hot Blues, who have started the season with back-to-back wins. 

The 19-year-old was selected with pick No.5 in the Pre-season Draft after Ainé Tighe was moved to the inactive list. McNaughton played junior football with South Coogee before joining East Fremantle in the WAFLW, which added an extra layer to her craft. 

Joining McNaughton for her debut on Sunday is defender Holly Egan, who was sidelined for the entire 2025 season following surgery to repair an ACL. 

Forward Georgie Brisbane will play her first home-and-away game of 2026 after missing the opening two rounds with a hand injury sustained in pre-season. 

Veteran Ash Brazill comes out of the side that beat Collingwood last weekend with the defender entering concussion protocols. Laura Pugh and Tunisha Kikoak have been omitted. 

Sunday’s clash will commence at 3.05pm WST at Cockburn ARC Oval and will be broadcast live on Fox and 7mate from 3.00pm WST, as well as streamed live on Kayo, Binge and 7Plus.
