Walyalup welcomes the return of defender Ash Brazill from concussion for Sunday’s clash with Richmond.
Brazill announced on Tuesday that the 2026 AFLW season will be her last as a player. The 36-year-old set to take up the newly created role of Head Coach and Operations Manager with Peel Thunder’s WAFLW team for the 2027 season.
The experienced defender comes back into the Fremantle side to take on the Tigers this Sunday at Ikon Park.
Fellow defender Madi Scanlon is also set to return for the first time in 2026 after recovering well from a foot issue sustained in the pre-season.
Alongside the returning duo, Tunisha Kikoak, Evie Parker, and Monique Bessen round out the extended bench, and could be named to play in Friday’s final team.
Reigning Fremantle best and fairest winner Aisling McCarthy will miss the Tigers clash due to knee soreness following last weekend’s six-point loss to Carlton. Indi Strom has been omitted.
Sunday’s clash will commence at 10:35am WST at Ikon Park, Melbourne and will be broadcast live on Fox and 7mate from 10.00am WST, as well as streamed live on Kayo and Binge.
