Fremantle have agreed to trade winger Nathan O’Driscoll to Richmond in exchange for draft pick No. 61 in the 2026 Telstra AFL Draft.

O’Driscoll is the first player to depart the Club during this year’s Continental Tyres AFL Trade Period, seeking to continue his AFL career with Richmond.

Fremantle Head of Player Personnel David Walls thanked O’Driscoll for his time in purple.

“It’s never easy having a player depart the Club, but Nathan was out of contract at the end of this season and was keen to seek opportunity elsewhere for his AFL career,” Walls said.

“The deal also allows us to get another pick in this year’s draft which we are supportive of.

“We wish Nathan all the best in the future and thank him for his time at Fremantle.”

The 24-year-old played 55 AFL games for Fremantle after being drafted to the Club with pick No. 27 in the 2020 National Draft.

He also played 57 games for Peel Thunder’s League side during his time at the Club, most recently featuring in its 2026 WAFL premiership.
