Versatile Fremantle forward Ashley Sharp has been nominated for the 2020 AFLW Mark of the Year.

The leaping contested mark was taken in the third quarter of Fremantle's clash with the Western Bulldogs in round six.

It came at a crucial moment, with the grab leading to a goal to get Freo within four points in their eventual 15-point win.

She is one of three nominees in the running to win the $10,000 prize.

A Rebecca Privitelli (GWS GIANTS) – Round 1 v Gold Coast SUNS
B Courtney Gum (Adelaide Crows) – Round 2 v St Kilda
C Ashley Sharp (Fremantle) – Round 6 v Western Bulldogs
