Fremantle welcomes back Stephen Hill’s pace and skill for Saturday’s clash with Collingwood after the classy midfielder was passed fit to play.

Hill, who missed the round 6 win over Gold Coast with a quad injury, was the only change, with young midfielder Cam Sutcliffe omitted.

The emergencies are Tom Sheridan, Tanner Smith and Sutcliffe.

Fremantle general manager of football Chris Bond said Hill’s inclusion was a big boost.

"He’s done everything right to get himself up for the game and obviously he’s a valuable player for us so we’re looking forward to seeing how he goes,” he said.

Bond said the club was pleased to get continuity at the selection table, with just the one change this week.

"I think stability in your team is really important but you have to have enough depth in your team to cover any injuries or anything else that happens,” he said.

The football GM labelled Saturday night’s match as a massive game for the club and one that Freo would have to do everything right in to win.

“We’re going to have to have every player up and going on Saturday night,” Bond said.

“Collingwood are an outstanding team. They’ve got some great players and they’re well coached.

“All our players are going to have to have a solid involvement in the game for us to get the result.”
