Hill was the club’s first draft pick (third overall) in the 2008 NAB AFL Draft.

He enjoyed a great debut season, playing all 22 games and gaining a NAB Rising Star nomination in round six following his excellent performance against West Coast.

Hill, along with Nick Suban, was one of only three rookies in the AFL system to play every game for their respective club in 2009.

Fremantle’s fans can expect to see a bigger, stronger Stephen Hill in 2010, with the speedy youngster bulking up over the pre-season.
