Round 8’s Docker 4 a Day for the Derby was 11-year-old Tara Butt of Aubin Grove.

Tara got the opportunity after she sent in an acrostic poem on her favourite player, Stephen Hill, in the Be the Derby Docker 4 A Day competition run of fremantlefc.com.au last week.

Sporting Hilly’s No. 32 on her back, Tara ran out onto Patersons Stadium with Freo Dockers’ captain Matthew Pavlich for the game against the Eagles.

Thanks to , Tara’s Docker 4 A Day experience was a memorable one, especially after Matt de Boer gave her a high five as she ran through the banner and then found herself standing next to her favourite, Hilly!

Tara answered some questions before her experience

Q - What did you do when you found out you would be the Docker 4 a Day?
A - When my mum told me I was squealing and running around the house. I haven’t slept since!

Q - What was your inspiration for your acrostic poem?
A - I saw it on fremantlefc.com.au so I thought I’d give it a shot even though I didn’t think I would win because there would be millions of people doing it.

Q - Why is Stephen Hill your favourite player?
A - I used to like Scott Thornton and I cried when he retired. But then I started liking Stephen Hill when he joined the team.

Q - Did you enjoy getting a tour of the change rooms?
A - It was amazing. I put my shoe next to Aaron Sandilands’ boot and it was a big size difference!
