Melbourne's Lynden Dunn has been given a one-match suspension by the match review panel, which must remain at one week, due to his record.

Dunn was charged with a level one striking offence against Richmond’s Luke McGuane, during the fourth quarter of Saturday’s clash at the MCG.

He will miss the match against Fremantle at Etihad Stadium.

Defender James Frawley has also been charged with a level two striking offence against Tiger Robin Nahas.

But Frawley can accept a reprimand, due to his five-year good record.

His presence is important given his likely opponent Matthew Pavlich's good form up forward.
