Five Fremantle-listed players ran out for Peel in a pre-season game against Claremont on Saturday at Claremont Oval.

Development coach Adam Read runs through how they fared.

Heath Chapman
Heath played back and, although he had a slow start, he really improved as the game went on. It was his competitiveness that stood out and he was also very clean with the ball.

Taylin Duman
Taylin split his time, playing the first half in defence and second half on the wing. He did well back and looked good on the wing. He held his shape and structure well and was a good driver of our ball movement.

Josh Treacy
Josh played up forward and had a very good day with seven goals. He kicked six in the first half and also kicked Peel’s first seven goals. He marked everything that came his way, competed well and his intent to chase and tackle was fantastic. It was an especially good game considering the week he’d had.

Joel Western
Joel played forward with small stints in the midfield. He got into some really good spots and looked to take the game on with his run and carry when he had the opportunity. He had a couple of shots on goal but unfortunately was unable to convert. He looked lively and dangerous when he got himself into the game.

Nathan Wilson
Nathan played back and competed hard. He had some good contests and ran hard to create some overlap run. He also looked to use his penetrating kick to gain lots of territory.
