Fyfe missed three games due to a hamstring injury but still had a big impact on Fremantle’s season with a runner-up finish in the Doig Medal. When it came to his game day role, Fyfe continually put the team first as he spent more time playing forward, allowing the likes of Caleb Serong, Adam Cerra and Andrew Brayshaw to all thrive in the midfield. Despite his role, he still led Fremantle with an average of 21.4 disposals per game. As a forward, Fyfe’s ability made him a nightmare to defend which only created more space and opportunities for the rest of the forward line.
