RND12 Injury Update: McNaughton, Healy, Scanlon, Egan, Lally

Fremantle will host Sydney at Cockburn ARC Oval in Round 12 of the 2026 NAB AFLW Season. 

The game will commence at 2.05pm on Sunday 1 November. 

This round is the RAC Road Safety Game, with a range of RAC activations around the ground reminding everyone to make it home safely. 

It’s our final home game of the home and away season, and there’s plenty to celebrate as we farewell Ash Brazill in her final AFLW game at Cockburn, after the former Australian Diamond announced earlier this season that 2026 would be her last.  

Two-time All Australia defender Emma O’Driscoll will run out for her 75th AFLW game on Sunday, and with finals still within reach, we need the Freo faithful out in force to support our girls. 

Tickets for the match are just $15 for adults, while juniors (under 14) are free. Make sure you avoid the queues by purchasing your ticket online before the game. 

The main gate is located on Remembrance Avenue and is the only entrance into the ground. Patrons will not be able to enter via Cockburn ARC’s main entry. 

Can Freo still play finals?

Yes, but we’ll need a little help. Here’s how it works: 

  1. Hawthorn need to lose. The Hawks sit in eighth spot, four points ahead of us, and play West Coast on Saturday night. If Hawthorn win or draw, eighth spot is theirs. 
  2. Freo need to beat Sydney. If Hawthorn lose, a win on Sunday would lift us level with them on points. 
  3. Percentage decides it. If we finish level on points with Hawthorn (102.5%), plus Adelaide (100.4%) and Port Adelaide (90.7%) win their games, eighth spot goes to whichever team has the best percentage. Fremantle’s percentage is currently 97.6% 

All of those other games are played on Saturday, so we’ll know exactly what’s needed before the first bounce on Sunday. 

Cockburn ARC Oval 

The Fremantle Dockers will play all AFL Women’s home matches at the Club’s Cockburn headquarters for the 2026 NAB AFLW Season, in a move set to support future growth and elite standards for the program.

What’s happening on the day? 

RAC’s Hot Shot Challenge 
Put your road safety knowledge and handball skills to the test at RAC’s Hot Shot Challenge, located at the Oh What Fun! Zone on Remembrance Avenue. Whether you’re a road safety rookie or a road safety rockstar, you’ll answer a series of multiple-choice questions on the road rules as a driver, pedestrian or shared path user, all about making safe choices on WA roads. A great one for the kids, with questions suitable for ages 6+. 

RAC’s Road Safety Photobooth 
Make sure you swing by RAC’s Road Safety Photobooth at the Oh What Fun! Zone on Remembrance Avenue before the final siren. Get the family together for a free photo and take home a print for the fridge. More than just a photo, it’s a reminder of the people we want to come home safely to. Keep your loved ones in the picture. 

Slow Down and Smell the Flowers 
After the final siren, look out for the RAC team at the exit, who will be handing out yellow stem flowers and car air fresheners to represent the lives lost on WA roads each year. RAC wants everyone to make it home safely, so take care on the roads and remember to slow down and smell the flowers.

Things to remember 

  • The grass hill on the far wing is naturally sloped, and chairs are not allowed inside the venue. We strongly recommend a rug or low seating option for the best and most comfortable viewing experience. 
  • Bags or other items larger than an A3 piece of paper may not be permitted. 
  • No cloaking facilities are available. 
  • Bringing your own food into the venue is permitted but must be in a soft cooler bag (hard eskies, glass and aluminium are not permitted). 
  • No BYO Alcohol permitted at any time. 
  • No pass-outs are available.
