The home side’s final total of 180 was also the highest score kicked in club history.

A 19-year-old David Mundy, playing in just his second AFL game, collected 10 possessions and five marks, while Michael Johnson, 20 at the time, was playing his fourth game.
Mundy went on to play a Fremantle record 124 consecutive games.
