Walyalup has confirmed its final team of 21 to take on North Melbourne in Round 3 of the NAB AFLW Season, this Sunday 31 August, headlined by a debutant in Indiana (Indi) West.

Jo Cregg joins West as the other confirmed inclusion and has been named on the interchange bench, while Tunisha Kikoak will also make her return as mentioned in Thursday's squad release after missing the side’s Round 2 game against Brisbane due to a concussion.

Forward Georgie Brisbane and forward/defender Gabby Biedenweg-Webster join defender Ash Brazill on the sideline in Round 3.

Brisbane has been omitted for the clash, Biedenweg-Webster is being managed with knee soreness, while Brazill was ruled out earlier in the week with a groin injury sustained in the Round 2 game against Brisbane.

West will make her remarkable debut after she was signed as an injury replacement player just under one month ago, where she has since impressed with her speed, athleticism and physicality.

Hailing from WA’s Southwest, West and has spent the past three seasons playing for Swan Districts in the WAFLW and was also a train on for Walyalup during pre-season.

Senior Coach Lisa Webb and Player Development Manager Liana Nici surprised the 19-year-old with the news on Thursday evening, leaving West stunned.

“Indi, you’re in, because the way you’ve been attacking the contest and the way you’ve been tearing it up (has been incredible),” Webb said to West on Thursday evening.

“(You’ve been demonstrating) exactly what we knew you could do, and we know this is a great opportunity for you to showcase those things.”

West has been named on the interchange bench alongside Phil Seth, Gabby O’Sullivan, Amy Mulholland and Cregg.

The three emergencies for the clash are Holly Ifould, Brisbane and Biedenweg-Webster.

Players from the AFL men’s squad will be at Fremantle Oval pre-game conducting a signing session to show their support and meet fans, while WA music sensation South Summit band will be performing at the game.

“The boys will be down, which will be great,” Webb said.

“They’re great supporters of us, we’re an all-in (Club), so there’ll be plenty of things we get to look forward to on field, but there’s a lot of things the Club are putting on off-field as well.”

Bouncedown on Sunday is at 1.05pm WST at Fremantle Oval.

The game will be broadcast live on Channel 7 and Fox Sports, and streamed live on Kayo, Binge and 7plus from 1pm WST.
