Fremantle midfielder Orlagh Lally will miss another week of football due to her foot injury, with a timeline still to be determined for her return to play.
Lally missed the side’s Thursday night clash with Hawthorn last week due to foot soreness, sustained following the Round 7 clash with Carlton the week before.
AFLW High Performance Manager Tom Sutherland provided an update on the midfielder.
“Orlagh has a bit of foot soreness, which will likely hold her back this week,” Sutherland said.
“We’re just trying to establish timelines at the moment.”
Defender Madi Scanlon will be a test for this week, after suffering a set back in her quad injury.
“Still some quad soreness for Madi, so we’re going to test her this week and see how she looks,” Sutherland said.
Key forward Áine Tighe is on track to be just one week away from being available to play.
Tighe has missed over 12 months of football after rupturing her right ACL in Round 4 of the 2024 NAB AFLW Season.
“Áine’s tracking along well,” Sutherland said.
“She still has a few boxes to tick, (but) we’ll see how she pulls up from training this week.”
