Fremantle has named its extended team to take on the Adelaide Crows at Rushton Park in Mandurah on Saturday in their AAMI Community Series match.
After representing Western Australia and Victoria in the AFL State of Origin game earlier this month, Jordan Clark, Shai Bolton, Luke Jackson, Jaeger O’Meara and Caleb Serong all return to the side for the Club’s final official pre-season match.
Following some calf awareness earlier in the week, Skipper Alex Pearce will not feature on Saturday.
As announced earlier in the week, both Brennan Cox (calf) and Sam Switkowski (concussion protocols) will miss the game as they work through their respective injuries.
Ruckman Sean Darcy will play managed minutes in a Peel practice match against West Coast WAFL on Saturday morning as he works back from a calf strain.
It will also be the second opportunity for fans to see recruits Judd McVee and Mason Cox pull on the purple after joining the Club at the end of 2025.
Forward Josh Treacy will captain the side in Pearce’s absence.
The match will begin at 3.10pm WST on Saturday.
The game will also serve as Fremantle’s final tune-up ahead of the Club’s Round 1 away trip to Geelong on March 14.
The AAMI Community Series matches will take on the following format:
- 4 quarters of 20 mins plus time on (as per AFL Premiership Season).
- Squad of 30 players; 18 on field, eight interchange and four emergencies. Minimum of four players on the Interchange Bench during the match at any time.
- No Interchange Cap.
- Full panel of umpires appointed by the AFL.
All AAMI Community Series will be broadcast live on Foxtel and Kayo and ticketed for fans to attend, with free general admission* for competing club and AFL members and kids.
