Fremantle take on West Coast on Saturday night for RAC Derby 50.

Here’s who could come in for the clash.

Aaron Sandilands
The star veteran ruckman is on the brink of playing his first game in 2019. The question is, will he be fit in time for the derby? Sandilands has been slowly building his fitness and had match simulation training last Saturday. If declared fit, he would either come in to play for Fremantle or for Peel in the WAFL.

Rory Lobb
Similar to Sandilands, Lobb would only come in if fit. Lobb trained lightly with the team on Tuesday and, if he gets through Thursday’s main training session, he would likely come in.

Travis Colyer
Played the opening eight games of the AFL season before heading to the WAFL. The speedy midfielder has built his form in recent weeks and has been among Peel’s best in three of his past four appearances. Against Swan Districts last Saturday, he had an impressive 22 disposals and two goals.

Mitch Crowden
Continues to impress at WAFL level, last week collecting 29 disposals, 10 tackles and a goal against Swan Districts. The only problem is finding a place for Crowden in the team. The tough midfielder played nine games for Fremantle in 2018 but is yet to play a game this season.

Taylin Duman
The defender has been in and out of the Fremantle lineup this season, playing eight games and averaging 14.4 disposals and 5.3 marks per game. Against Swan Districts, Duman had 21 disposals and six marks.

Ryan Nyhuis
Similar to Duman, Nyhuis has been in and out of the Fremantle starting 22, however he has played predominantly in the WAFL where he has averaged 15.7 disposals and five marks per game.

Hayden Ballantyne
The veteran small forward is continuing to perform well at WAFL level, averaging 1.4 goals per game. Last week for Peel, he collected 17 disposals, kicked 1.2 and laid five tackles.

Lachie Schultz
The small forward was held over as an emergency for Fremantle and did not play for Peel at the weekend. Schultz has been winning plenty of the football at Peel, averaging just under 20 disposals per game and has kicked seven goals from eight appearances.
