Fremantle will take on the Gold Coast Suns on Sunday 28 June at Optus Stadium. The game will commence at 3.10pm WST.
As Perth continues to grow into one of Australia's most diverse cities, Freo are making sure AFL is part of the welcome.
This weekend’s ‘My First Freo Game’ is our celebration of community, welcoming Perth's newest families to AFL and to the Freo family for our Round 16 clash with the Gold Coast Suns.
Tickets are available for the clash via Ticketmaster, starting from $39 for adults and FREE for juniors this weekend*
*Kids Go Free tickets are subject to capacity and availability.
Transport Information
Your footy ticket includes travel on all Transperth services for three hours either side of the game. Simply show your event ticket to the driver or inspector if asked.
For Sunday's game, direct inbound trains on the Yanchep and Mandurah lines, in addition to the Suburban Event Bus Network will operate to get you to and from the game. Direct trains on the Fremantle Line will also operate after the game to get you home.

Purple Playground (Southern Oval)
Come down to Southern Oval located in front of the Camfield and bounce around on the Inflatable Obstacle Course, try your shot at goals with the Freo Super Goals or take a hanger at the Inflatable Marking Spot.
Be sure to also get yourself tatted up with a Freo airbrush tattoo or come and test your bean-bag-slinging skills with our Freo Footy Themed Corn Hole Boards!
- Basket Weaving & Bracelet Making: This round marks our first Cultural Heritage match, so get crafty and make an indigenous-themed bracelet and basket weaving with Emma Jane's Weaving - a culturally appropriate Aboriginal-owned workshop.
- Player Visit: Freo players will be stopping by pre-game, so be sure to catch them for an autograph or selfie.
101 Oh What Fun! (Near Lobby 101)
Located at Lobby 101, 101 Oh What Fun is your destination for fun outside of the footy.
- Airbrush Tattoo: If you missed out on an airbrush tattoo before the game, be sure to stop by and get some purple paint.
- Craft Workshop: Try your creative side with the Freo Craft Workshop. This week, decorate and make your own drum shaker to bang and rattle into the Purple Army atmosphere!
- Player Visit: Freo players will be stopping by at half-time, so be sure to catch them for an autograph or selfie.
101 Oh What Fun will close at the end of three-quarter time.
131 Even More Fun! (Western Podium)
Western Podium behind section 131, in between the City View Cafe and Goodwood Restaurant.
Come down and test your skills for our Mini Combine! See how your speed, strength and agility stacks up to your friends, and maybe one day you will be wowing the crowd on the field!
- Running Man: This fast-paced challenge gets you moving and racing against each other in a high-energy competition. Two players go head-to-head, running on a responsive platform to light up their side first.
- Reaction Game: Test your reaction speed! This fun and addictive game that challenges you to try and catch as many of the falling batons as they randomly drop from above.
- Reaction Cones: Reaction Cones is the ultimate test of speed, reflexes, and coordination. As the cones light up and play sounds, race to tap them - building friendly competition and plenty of laughs.
There will also be the regular fan-favourite activities.
- Wheelchair Footy: WA All Abilities Wheelchair football 'come and try' and inclusion specialists will be on-hand to discuss participation opportunities in adaptive football for people living with disabilities. Wheelchair Footy will be running from when stadium gates open until the end of half-time.
- Soft Play: Does your little one need a tap-out from sitting down? Let them burn off some energy at the soft play zone, with multiple bits to sit and climb about or even jump in the ball pit! With mats as the floor, it is a safe and fun way to keep your toddlers entertained at the footy.
- Freo Guess Who?: How well do you know the Dockers players? Challenge your mates to the classic Guess Who? Game with a Freo twist!
The Ressies Bar
Head up to the Ressies Bar at the Eastern Scoreboard Terrace on Level 5 for the perfect pre-game party!
We will have local musician Angus Dawson taking the stage and setting the vibes for what should be an amazing afternoon of footy.
TABtouch Darts
Have you got the touch? Come have a shot at the TABtouch Darts activation where you can throw felt footballs at a dartboard for the chance to win a range of prizes from merchandise to vouchers.

Optus Stadium Restaurants and Catering
The City View Cafe will be OPEN. However, the Goodwood restaurant will be CLOSED.
The Freo Clubhouse
The Freo Clubhouse in the River View Rooms will be open for this round, however, you will need to show your ticket stating room access to receive entry. The Sky View Lounge will be closed pre-game for a private function.
