Fremantle forward sensation Shai Bolton said the passion of the Purple Army roaring at Optus Stadium gets him and the team rolling.
Kicking his first goal halfway through the third quarter, Bolton passionately celebrated with the Purple Army, stirring the crowd into a frenzy.
“When the big games come, I feel like when you celebrate, you want to bring that energy in,” Bolton said.
“I feel that energy drives through the team as well.
“I feel like when you drive and when you get the crowd going, it motivates us to play some good footy."
The blitz of second-half goals, where Freo piled on 100 points to the Swans’ 40, saw the floodgates open with eight different goal kickers hitting the scoreboard.
“The Freo fans are crazy, you know, they rock up every time for us,” Bolton said.
“We feel like when we're home, we try to play our best, and that's against any team, really.
“It's a thing for the fans when they come here that we want to play our best for them."
The 55,966 passionate fans at Optus Stadium marked the biggest home and away non-Derby crowd ever in Fremantle history.
The win over the Swans puts an eight-point gap between Freo and the Swans on the ladder.
The Club will now travel to Adelaide to play Port on Saturday 18 July in Round 19.
