Fremantle have won their first official match simulation of the pre-season by 15 points against Adelaide at Fremantle Oval on Friday.
The home side built on a 2-point lead at the main break with four goals in the third quarter, followed by two early majors in the final term to defeat the Crows in the 10.7.67 to 8.4.52 win.
Forward Bella Smith led the goal-kickers with three, while the latest member of the leadership group Meg Kauffman booted two.
Gabby O’Sullivan played with her signature energy up forward, taking marks and creating numerous scoring opportunities for her teammates.
Heading into her 11th AFLW season, fellow midfielder Kiara Bowers was still laying her trademark tackles well into the final term, ensuring her physical presence was felt by the Crows.
Defender Emma O’Driscoll played her role down back with several crucial intercept marks. The newly appointed deputy vice-captain also displaying her on-field leadership with strong voice as well.

Fremantle hit the road for a second match simulation on Saturday against Port Adelaide. The women’s team will travel with the men’s side to Adelaide before facing Port at Alberton on Saturday morning.
