Fremantle Director of Performance Adam Beard has given an update on the squad’s health ahead of the Club’s Semi Final against Geelong on Friday night at Optus Stadium.
Beard confirmed forward Sam Sturt had hamstring surgery yesterday.
UNAVAILABLE:
Brennan Cox (calf)
Brennan's training really well. We got him into a football drill at main train today. We just want to get a bit more conditioning into him over the week. He'll be one week.
Sam Sturt (hamstring)
Surgery went really well, and he's now just recovering, and we'll look at recon in a week.
Aiden Riddle (foot)
Aiden is just recovering at the moment, but he'll be a week away.
TEST:
Sean Darcy (knee)
Sean had a knee-on-knee knock (playing for Peel). He’s got a bit of swelling, but he'll be a test to play.
Brandon Walker (ankle)
Brandon injured his ankle during the game in an acceleration. Unfortunately, couldn't finish the game. We got him scans this week, which have come up quite good so he'll be a test of play.
