A quick look back at Hayley Miller’s journey from Season One of the AFLW to now!

Day One, Number One, Round One 
Fremantle selected Hayley Miller with their first pick in the inaugural AFLW National Draft in October, 2016 from the Coastal Titans. Her debut came in Round 1, 2017 against the Western Bulldogs. 

2022, two seasons, too good. 
2022 proved to be Miller’s most prolific, the midfielder earning her first All Australian nod as well as being recognised as Fremantle’s fairest and best. Miller also won the RAC Derby Medal in Season 7 and was Fremantle’s leading goal kicker. 

Skipper Miller (2022 & 2023) 
Miller captained the Club across three seasons including two in 2022 and for the 2023 season. Miller has remained a key figure in the leadership group since 2020. 
 
Leading goalkicker 
Miller has been the leading goalkicker for Fremantle in 2022 and 2025 and recently broke through to become the Club’s all-time leading goal-kicker. 

First to the ton 
Miller becomes the first Fremantle player to reach the 100 AFLW game milestone. The 30-year-old has played 99 of a possible 103 Fremantle games to date.
