The finals have arrived, and every fit and available player on Fremantle’s list will be vying for one of 22 spots in Saturday’s Qualifying Final against Sydney at ANZ Stadium.

One certainty is the inclusion of Nat Fyfe. The superstar will slot straight back into the Freo engine room after serving his two-game suspension.

Garrick Ibbotson was a late inclusion to last Saturday’s match against Port, and he did himself no harm with a very strong effort in defence.

Alex Silvagni was the player who made way for ‘Ibbo’, but it’s very likely he’ll come straight back into the team if Luke McPharlin isn’t right to go.

Silvagni will be needed against a Sydney forward line that includes Lance Franklin, Kurt Tippett and Sam Reid.

There were some strong efforts in the WAFL, too, with Matt de Boer sending a message that he’s desperate to get his spot back.

He had 35 disposals and took seven marks in Peel Thunder’s loss to South Fremantle on the weekend.

Tommy Sheridan also made a solid return after a short injury layoff.

Freo will monitor the fitness of star defender Michael Johnson throughout the week after he had a tight back in the game against Port.
