Two Fremantle players have earned coaches' votes for round seven in the AFLCA Champion Player of the Year award.

Matthew Taberner picked up three votes in Sunday's RAC Derby after displaying his aerial dominance throughout the match, looming as a large presence in Freo's forward line.

Taberner finished the game with 14 disposals, seven marks and two goals, both of which came in the first quarter.

Defender Luke Ryan also collected two votes after playing a crucial rebounding role in Freo's back half.

Ryan collected 19 disposals and five marks as well as a game high nine spoils and five rebound 50s.
