Fremantle will challenge Andrew Brayshaw's one-game suspension at a tribunal hearing on Tuesday.

The hearing is scheduled for 5.30pm WST and will be held via video link to Melbourne.

The midfielder was charged by the AFL's Match Review Officer for Making Unreasonable or Unnecessary Contact to the Eye Region of Brisbane's Jarrod Berry, during the second quarter of Fremantle's clash with Brisbane on Sunday at Optus Stadium.

Based on the available evidence, the incident was assessed as Intentional Conduct, Low Impact, High Contact.

If the challenge is successful, it will mean Brayshaw will be available for this weekend's RAC Derby at Optus Stadium.
