Darcy averaged 27.3 hitouts from 11 games in 2019, sharing the ruck duties with either Aaron Sandilands or Rory Lobb in most of his appearances. The 21-year-old is racking up hitouts at a record pace for a young ruckman, with more than any other player in their first 26 AFL games. One of his best performances came in Freo’s one-point win against Sydney, where Darcy collected a career-high 17 disposals with 15 contested possessions.
