Reid is a small forward who prides himself on pressure and forward craft. In his debut season at AFL level, the young Victorian shone, taking out the Telstra AFL Rising Star award after an outstanding 24 games, 25 goals and 132 score involvements. He looks to trap the ball in Fremantle’s attacking half and capitalise on opportunities at ground level, and as he builds his AFL experience, his instincts around goal and work rate will be key strengths.
