David Mundy will enter the history books when he becomes just the second Fremantle player, and the second player based in WA, to reach the 300-game milestone.

He will achieve the feat when he runs out for Saturday night’s Len Hall Anzac Tribute game against the Western Bulldogs at Optus Stadium.

Here are some other impressive numbers from Mundy’s career.

6326 – Mundy’s career disposal total is the most out of any player for Fremantle and a player based in WA. This total ranks him eighth in all-time in the AFL. 

2641 – This isn’t the only stat Mundy leads for Fremantle. His 2641 contested possessions are the most in club history and ranks him seventh all-time in the AFL.

1135 – Mundy’s 1135 career tackles is 337 more than any other Fremantle player. He ranks eighth in the all-time tackle count in the AFL. 

299 – Mundy’s current games total is the most by any player wearing the no.16 in AFL history.

149 – Mundy’s games played at Subiaco Oval, with Fremantle winning 95 of those games.

115 – David Mundy is the 115th player to appear for Fremantle. 

124 – The number of consecutive games Mundy played after making his debut in 2005 (round six against Melbourne). In 2009, Mundy became the eighth player in AFL history to reach the 100-game milestone without missing a game. 

44 –Mundy’s highest disposal total came in 2016 against Sydney in what was Matthew Pavlich’s 350th game. His 24 contested possessions in the game was also a career high.

34 – The number of consecutive games Mundy has currently played for Fremantle, the most out of any player on the Fremantle list. He last missed a game in round 16 of the 2017 season.
